Beautiful Light Inn

Beautiful Light Apartments is an affordable senior community comprised of 1-bedroom apartments.  The property serves low to very-low income households. Mortgage financing was provided by Citi Community Capital.  Low Income Housing Tax Credits were acquired by MUFG Union Bank.

Building exterior renovation highlights include: new energy efficient roofing and windows. The building was re-painted, and any rotted wood trim and fascia was replaced. Site work included new energy efficient lighting, parking lot seal & stripe and extensive modifications to landscape & hardscape.

Building interior renovation highlights include: a complete retrofit to all common area finishes. All lobbies, corridors, offices, community room, bathroom and laundry room received new hard surfaced flooring, paint, signage, energy efficient lighting, accessibility modifications and designer art work. All mailboxes were replaced and a new Apple computer learning center was installed within the community room. Major mechanical systems were addressed, including elevator improvements, new boiler, and new HVAC equipment. All unit kitchens and bathrooms received new cabinets, countertops, vinyl plank flooring, plumbing fixtures, energy efficient lighting and appliances. All unit PTAC systems were replaced.
