Triangle Terrace is an affordable senior community comprised of studios and 1-bedroom apartments. The property serves low to very-low income households. Mortgage financing was provided by Citi Community Capital. Low Income Housing Tax Credits were acquired by MUFG Union Bank.
Renovation improvements include: Extensive landscaping remodel, parking lots have been resealed, striped, and modifications to the concrete to improve site accessibility. All site lighting has been replaced with energy efficient upgrades. The building exterior received new siding, stucco, paint, energy efficient windows, roofing, gutters/ downspouts and a new enclosure for a generator, which shall be an added source of back-up power for the elevator. All common areas within the building (including lobbies, corridors, offices and community room) received new flooring, energy efficient lighting, paint and signage. All furnishings within the common areas of the building have been replaced and a computer-learning center was added within the community space. HVAC condensers, which provide AC to the building’s common areas, have been replaced. Unit interiors received new kitchen and bathroom cabinets, countertops, vinyl flooring, energy efficient lighting, appliances, and plumbing fixtures. A new, code compliant fire sprinkler and alarm system was added to vastly improve upon minimal existing life safety systems.
